The Queen’s Faculty of Education was first founded in 1907. After closing in 1920, it re-opened its doors to B.Ed. students in 1968 and has been producing ethical, progressive leaders in education ever since.
We offer undergraduate programs leading to teacher certification, graduate programs involving research in education and professional development courses for career advancement in education. Our programs prepare you for a variety of careers.
The Mathematics, Science and Technology Education Group is a research and development team at the Faculty of Education, Queen’s University, that is dedicated to improving teaching and learning in the mathematics, science and technology fields in schools and in teacher education.
The Group promotes:
- greater awareness of the links that can be made between mathematics, science and technology;
- the advancement of accessibility to these fields;
- education for social responsibility.
